Treatment Personalized To You
This treatment is a further development of what Margaret has provided and trained others in the past. It includes work specifically directed at the heart of connection to others and ourselves in a healthy way that fosters growth and peaceful relationships.
Intensive treatment for adults is typically 9-12 & 1-4 M-F. However, treatment is tailored to the specific needs of the client and the rate is adjusted accordingly.
Intensive treatment for kids and teens is typically 9-12 or 1-4 M-F. The first and last day of the week of treatment is spent with the parent/caregiver. Up to four one-hour sessions may be added as follow-up after the week of intensive treatment.
Speaking/Training rate depends on the needs, size and type of group.
$6,400/week for adults & $3,200/week for children and teens. This fee covers the cost of therapy. Travel, room and board and any other incurred expenses are not included in the fee for treatment.
50% of the cost of treatment is due at the time of scheduling to reserve appointment times. If cancelling with less than 4 weeks notice, refunds cannot be made and the deposit is forfeited. The deposit may be transferred to the account of another individual choosing to treat at the scheduled time.
Since insurance does not typically cover intensive outpatient treatment, we do not bill to insurance. We are happy to provide a receipt that may be submitted to insurance for reimbursement of the client.
Post-Adoptive Special Service Subsidy is accepted.
Culture of Connection is located at:

Pittsburgh International Airport is the closest airport.
Intensive outpatient trauma treatment has been found to be a great benefit to traditional counseling. Many people find that it helps them make significant strides on their healing journey in a very short period of time. Oftentimes, integration work may still be needed after treatment and we are happy to coordinate with your ongoing therapist for continuity of care.
Over the years, Margaret has received many requests for a book about this method of treatment and this is finally completed and available on Amazon.com. The book is titled: More Than Words: The Freedom to Thrive After Trauma by Margaret Mary Vasquez. It provides a readable explanation of trauma and this method of treatment with many examples that help to bring the information to life.
