NRI Trauma Treatment with Margaret Vasquez

A Unique Approach

Neuro-reformatting and Integration (NRI) is an adaptation of the Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR) model of trauma treatment that focuses on healthy integration and connection.

Traumatic memories are encoded in a way that causes the emotions to remain present, thus causing the survivor to continue to feel and/or behave as though bound by the painful events of the past. Once they are effectively addressed, the person typically experiences greater freedom to live in the present.

5 Day Treatment

The reason that significant gains can be made within just one week is because this method of treatment works to address traumas on a biological level by reformatting how the brain encodes traumas.

Intensive outpatient trauma treatment has been found to be a great benefit to traditional counseling. Many people find that it helps them make significant strides on their healing journey in a very short period of time. Oftentimes, integration work may still be needed after treatment and we are happy to coordinate with your ongoing therapist for continuity of care.

Over the years, Margaret has received many requests for a book about this method of treatment and this is finally completed and available on Amazon.com. The book is titled: More Than Words: The Freedom to Thrive After Trauma by Margaret Mary Vasquez. It provides a readable explanation of trauma and this method of treatment with many examples that help to bring the information to life.
